Phil Brownlee is a composer and audio practitioner, based in Wellington, New Zealand. His work spans notated composition, free improvisation, and electroacoustic media. He has an ongoing interest in the interface between the traditions of taonga puoro, and contemporary creative practices. This has led to a number of collaborative works, and a deeper interest in shared creative processes.
