The Inner Ear - participatory improvisation session

Pyramid Club is happy to announce the INNER EAR ... weekly sessions of free improvisation, ensemble playing and non-idiomatic investigations, every Wednesday 7-9pm until mid November.

Hosted by Isaac Smith, these sessions are for participation (they are 'closed door' ie. not public gigs) with the aim of facilitating collective and individual inquiry into improvised music and the realities of sound language dialogue.

American French hornist Kyra Sims combines electronically processed field recordings from Antarctica with free improvisation, vocals, and storytelling, in collaboration with A/V designer Ryn Hardiman. Supported by local classical composer, Lucky Pollock, on flute, keys and vocals.
